It is not necessary to be a member of sacred spring in order to attend our courses or to benefit from our knowledge. We offer membership and affiliation only because we know that there are some of you who want to have the support of a parent school which can provide you development opportunities for you and your students through gradings and insurance as well as training courses. Anyone who trains with us or as part of one of our affiliated schools is a part of our group insurance scheme and is welcome to attend any sacred spring events.

Membership fees and categories - from 2008

Membership has been split into four categories for ease of administration, communication and affordability for our students within the schools that make up the Sacred Spring Familiy. Bronze, Silver and Gold memberships are suitable for individual members, and we are offering a package specifically designed to give martial arts teacher everything they need to be able to run a club

Bronze

This is our basic membership which is open to all students who are training and covered by our group member to member insurance policy.N.B no free courses. Students wishing to attend the Sacred Spring Seminar programme 2008 pay full price for each course.

Silver

A membership that gives you 50% discount of The 4 Sacred Spring courses throughout the year. Member to Member insurance.

  • Children £10

Gold

An all- inclusive membership that provides:
  • Free training pass to all of the Sacred Spring courses throughout the year.
  • Any and all grading fee`s in the year from Janruary to December
  • Member to Member Insurance.
    • Cost Adults £65
    • Cost Children £30
    N.B please note accomdation and food and drinks are not provided for any of the Seminars. We do provide a list of local B and B, which are conveniant to the venue.

    Teachers Package

    This is all inclusive package aimed at teachers within sacred spring. It covers all of you requirements as a teacher throughout the year. Specifically the package includes all compulsary courses which validate your insurance.

    The following are the benfits of this package:
    • P.L.C Instructor cover to £5,000,000 (value £85)
    • Member to Member Insurance which benefits for all your students. (Value £4 per student)
    • C.R.B Check( Value £30)
    • One Day Appointed Persons First Aid Course.( Value £65)
    • Health and Safety/Child Protection Training.(Value £65)
    • A Free Training Pass to all Sacred Spring Seminar Programme 2008.(value £325)
    Cost £175.

    NB - This whole Teaching package is worth in real terms £570.

    Please note: If you teach Martial Arts you can still Join Sacred Spring as an individual member at one of the levels or as a teacher. Your students are not required to join, although they may find that by doing so they enjoy the benefits of membership.

    The spirit of Sacred Spring

    It is important to remember that Sacred Spring is a school, and like all schools it has a direction which is carved out by its teachers. Members of Sacred Spring are expected to take steps to ensure that they are ambassadors for the school, that they are moving in the general direction and that they encourage students to take steps upon an appropriate path.

    Because of the need to maintain this spirit of sacred Spring through quality, standards, values and message we reserve the right to challenge and re-direct you in the way in which you train, teach and run your club. We will not interfere with the financial and business aspects, we do not require that you you affiliate all members or purchase membership books and you are always free to use whatever grading system you like and to teach in your area of expertise. However we will check that you are on the right path and we will guide you and your students towards higher learning. If this isn't what you want, then don't affiliate, but please remember that you are always welcome to train with us.
